GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A Greenville area restaurant is shut down after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.

The owners of A.J. McMurphy’s Irish Pub on Turnbury Drive posted the notice on Facebook Thursday.

They say they want to make sure customers and employees are safe.

They’ll be closed until all workers have been tested and are healthy.

The owners are promising to update when they’ll be reopening.

Other restaurants in the east have taken similar measures after employees tested positive for COVID-19.
