Greenville’s Bicycle Post closing
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A fixture in the bicycle community in Greenville for nearly 50 years is closing up shop.
The Bicycle Post on Arlington Boulevard has signs on its front saying that is will soon close.
The shop is telling customers they must pickup repairs by July 11th.
In January, the business shuttered its downtown location on Cotanche Street. Also in January, owner Gerry Smith passed away.
The store wouldn’t talk to WITN about why they are closing.
It comes as cycling is in high demand because of the COVID-19 pandemic with many bike shops completely selling out of bikes
