Prices at the pump are starting to creep back up.
The price of gas in Greenville jumped by about a dime over the weekend, now up to $1.49 at many stations today. The *national* average price for a gallon of regular gas rose by more than a penny over the weekend, according to AAA.
Experts say the ongoing fighting between Israel and Hamas and the upcoming OPEC meeting have oil traders on edge about the future of supplies. As a result, the average price of gas has risen every day in most parts of the country since the new year started.

If you are able, stop driving (take public trans when you can). Stop flying. If you really care about changing the way things work, the country's dependency on oil, and the global environment, start with this.
