Washington Electric customers without power may call the city at 252-975-9320 to report outages.

Washington City Manager Josh Kay told Heather King that the City of Washington has suspended all operations until the extreme weather passes.
He reports that over 50% of electric customers in the city are without power. Key says to call 975-9320 to report an outage.
Kay asked all Washington residents to stay hunkered down until the storm passes because there are many trees down and there are reports of power lines hanging down.
