2010: Tropical Depression 19 Forms In Caribbean

Tropical Depression 19 formed 125 miles south of Grand Cayman on Wednesday evening in the western Caribbean Sea. At 11 pm Wednesday the storm was located at 17.5 N, 81.1 W and was moving east at 2 mph. Sustained winds were clocked at 35 mph. A slow movement to the south then west is expected over the next 24 to 48 hours. The system is expected to become a tropical storm and approach the Yucatan coast over the weekend.
