Tropical Storm Gordon Staying Well Out To Sea

Tropical Storm Gordon continues to move deeper into the open Atlantic Ocean.

At 5:00 pm Friday Gordon was located at 34.2 N, 42.1 W, or about 900 miles west of the Azores. Gordon was moving to the east at 18 mph with sustained winds of 70 mph.

Gordon will continue to move further out in the deep Atlantic over the weekend posing a threat to the Azores but no threat to the United States.
