Carteret County:
Newport Middle School opens at 1:00 p.m. Friday
West Carteret High School opens at 1:00 p.m. Friday
Beaufort Elementary opens Friday at 1:00 p.m. Friday.
Cherry Point:
Opening at 4:00 p.m. Friday will be shelters at the Cherry Tree House, located on 4th Avenue, and the Marine Dome gymnasium. The Marine Dome will be a pet-friendly shelter.
