PAMLICO COUNTY: All Residents Without Power

Pamlico County has just updated the latest information about county wide damages.

Officials say crews are continuing damage assessments. Pamlico County says all 13, 000 residents and business's are without power.

Emergency personnel say water customers are under a mandatory boil water advisory as well as conservation orders.

The state is delivering water, ice, and food kits that are on there way. County officials say please go to you local fire stations for for kits or essentials.

County officials say all county staff need to report to work.

The county is under a voluntary evacuation notice for all residents.

The county's offices closed at noon.

A shelter is open at Pamlico Community College.
