Mandatory Evacuations in Pasquotank and Camden Counties

A mandatory evacuation is in effect for Pasquotank and Camden Counties for flood prone areas and for residents living in unsafe housing.

A Red Cross Shelter is open in Pasquotank County at the Kermit E. White Center, 1704 Weeksville Road, Elizabeth City, NC.

Christy Saunders says there are no cots available, and evacuees must
provide their own bedding.

They should also bring their medication and any other special needs items.
