TYRRELL COUNTY: Mandatory Evacuation

A mandatory evacuation order took effect for Tyrrell County at 7 a.m. Friday.

County officials say residents in low-lying areas and mobile homes are strongly encourage to evacuate.

Tyrrell County is one of several in the east under a hurricane warning.

    Will they use evacuation of the prisoners? They are human, also.

      Yes they did evacuate Tyrrell county prisoners but that prison aint going anywhere.Heck I helped build it and the one in wndsor.It is made of rebar and concrete.What a total waste of tax payers money.
