Tropical Update: Humberto Reforms; Hurricane Ingrid Nearing Mexican Coastline

Tropical Storm Humberto has re-formed far out over the Atlantic.

The storm's maximum sustained winds Monday morning are near 40 mph with slow strengthening expected over the next few days.

Humberto is centered about 1,200 miles southwest of the Azores and is moving west-northwest near 8 mph.

The storm is not a threat to land and its forecast track currently shows it will stay over water.

INGRID:

As of 5:00 am Monday Hurricane Ingrid was located at 23.4 N, 97.1 W, or about 175 miles south of Brownsville, TX. The hurricane had sustained winds of 75 mph and was moving to the WNW at 7 mph. The storm will make a landfall over northeastern Mexico Monday afternoon. Significant flooding may occur across portions of Mexico over the next few days
