The City of Havelock imposed a curfew at 9:30PM. Officals say residents should carefully return to their place of shelter for the duration of the storm. Curfew will be lifted after winds subside below 39MPH sustained and City officials have determined that the City is safe for navigation. It is likely that this may not happen until Sunday.

Exceptions remain: Law enforcement, Fire and Rescue, Public Services workers, doctors, nurses, other medical staff and personnel for hospitals and other medical facilities, active duty military travelling to or from duty, public utility workers, and public transportation employees.
