Flooded Roads & All, Crews Work To Get Power On

Crews have been working non-stop and through all kinds of conditions to get power restored.

That story is illustrated in this picture sent to Dave Jordan's facebook page.

We're told the picture was taken on VOA Road in Washington.

As you can see, the roadway is still flooded, but crews aren't letting that stop them as they try to get power flowing again.

At the height of Irene nearly half-a-million people were without power in NC. Wednesday night that number is down to about 110,000.
