People Filling Up Ahead Of Hanna

While some may be filling up as they leave town to get away from Hanna, others who are planning to stay are tapping the gas pump as well.

Chuck Price filled up three gas cans in preparation for the storm. He bought over $100.00 in fuel on Thursday. And just to show how the storm might be affecting gas prices, when he switched to his second gas can, the price of gas jumped 10 cents.

State Attorney General Roy Cooper says the state's price gouging law is now in effect, preventing businesses from charging unreasonably excessive prices in a time of crisis.
