Beaufort County officials continue to monitor the path of Hanna and warn not only homeowners to prepare but boat owners as well.
Robert Proctor sits on his 32 foot sailboat along Stewart parkway Wednesday afternoon, but by Thursday morning he says he'll move his craft out into open water and anchor it.
Just like the many others that have docked their boats along this waterway, they too, will need to make preparations to leave.
Officials say they will have to move them soon, because once the storm comes ashore, boats still tied to the dock could cause major problems.
Dock attendants have contacted all boats on Stewart Parkway to warn tell them to get their crafts to safety.
