Damp conditions will continue to be the norm for the rest of Sunday, but bits of sun will push temperatures above 70°. The heaviest showers have moved out over the Atlantic and cloudy skies continue to scatter eastern Carolina. While a stray shower can't be ruled out, the majority of the area will remain dry for the rest of the day. Without much sun, the ground will continue to be saturated from this morning's rain.
A cold front will pass through on Monday bringing another round of rain and cooler evening temperatures. Despite the front, highs on Monday will reach the 70° for a second consecutive day.
