Monday we will be tracking a storm system moving in from the southwest which could potentially plague us for most of the week.
The biggest threat with this system will be heavy rain as the severe threat in general appears to be low.
If any severe storms do form the main threats would be heavy downpours, lightning, hail, and gusty winds.
This storm will bring increased rain chances Monday, primarily late in the day, and the rain chances could linger well into the week.
It will not be a total washout but periods of showers and thunderstorms will be possible as this slow moving system struggles to move through the area.
There is the possibility that the second half of the week could remain cloudy and damp if the front stalls near the coast.
Models are hinting at a storm developing off of the southeast coast which could bring more rain to the area late in the week and into next weekend.
It is to early to tell if this will happen but we will continue to monitor the situation and bring updates on its possible impacts on the area.
