Warm And Humid With More Showers Across Eastern Carolina On Thursday

A stationary front straddled across eastern North Carolina brought more showers to the area Wednesday. The front will slowly sag southward overnight and will move into northern South Carolina. The focus for showers and thunderstorms will shift a bit southward overnight but the threat for more showers will continue on Thursday as the front moves back to the north. The clouds and showers will keep temperatures slightly below normal during the afternoon. Highs will average in the middle 80s.
