Nice weather conditions will persist across eastern Carolina through Friday. Afternoon highs will reach the middle 80s under partly to mostly sunny skies. Winds will remain northeasterly at 7 to 15 mph throughout the day.
Increasing moisture will move into eastern Carolina over the weekend. A stray afternoon shower or storm may develop each afternoon. Chances of rain will be around 20% through the weekend.. Each afternoon will feature partly cloudy skies with highs in the middle 80s.
The heat and humidity will climb a bit next week as highs push closer to 90° along with a 30-40% chance of afternoon storms through much of the week.
