Storms Possible Tonight Across Eastern Carolina

A cold front approaching eastern Carolina will bring a chance for thunderstorms tonight.

There will be a slight risk of a severe storm from late afternoon through the early evening hours. The primary risk will be wind gusts up to 60 mph.

The front will push off the coast Monday night with clearing skies and temperatures dropping back to the upper 40s. Sunny weather can be expected for midweek.
