Warm With More Showers On Tuesday Across Eastern Carolina

A stationary front near the area combined with warm and moist air will contribute to a good chance for showers and possible thunderstorms on Tuesday. Some of the showers will be locally heavy and could contain gusty winds. The risk for showers will remain in the forecast during the midweek although drier air should begin to filter into the area later in the week. Highs will reach the lower to middle 80s during Tuesday afternoon.
