Warm And Sunny Across Eastern Carolina On Thursday

High pressure along the East Coast will slowly move offshore on Thursday allowing a warm southwesterly flow to develop across the area. Sunny skies should push afternoon highs into the middle 80s except lower 80s along the immediate coast. Warm and generally dry conditions will continue into Friday. By Saturday a slow-moving cold front will drop into the state causing an increase in cloud cover and the threat for showers. Highs over the weekend will be in the upper 70s to around 80°.
