Scattered Showers And Storms Continue This Evening

UPDATE:

There are no active warnings at this time but scattered showers and storms continue.

The showers and storms will linger into the evening hours.

Areas that do receive the thunderstorms can expect locally heavy rain and gusty winds.

PREVIOUS:

Temperatures are now well into the 80s with increasing rain chances this afternoon and evening.

A cold front approaching from the northwest will help to enhance some of this shower activity today.

The severe threat is low but it cannot be completely ruled out.

The main threat with any storm, severe or not, will be heavy downpours and gusty winds.

Expect the showers and storms to last well into the overnight period.
