Watch Slideshow: Monday's Storm Systems Spawn Water Spouts

There were several reports of water spouts on the Outer Banks Monday.

One of the spouts is believed to have come on land, and law enforcement reported a tornado near Bodie Island lighthouse. There were no reports of damage.

Showers and thunderstorms are moving across parts of Eastern Carolina today.

Heavy rains, gusty winds, lightning and an isolated tornado are possible.

A tornado warning was issued earlier for Dare County.

Law enforcement reported a tornado near Bodie Island lighthouse.
