The tropical wave over the southern Gulf of Mexico has not become better organized and now appears less likely to develop this weekend.
Some slow development may occur Saturday into Sunday but the National Hurricane Center has dropped the probability of strengthening to about 30%.
The rest of the tropics are looking quiet headed into the weekend.
