Gabrielle Nearing Puerto Rico; No Threat to U.S.

At 7:00 pm Thursday, Tropical Depression Gabrielle was moving northwest at 8mph and had winds of 30mph. Located at 18.2N; -69.0W, the system was nearly 1200 miles from eastern Carolina.

The official track keeps the storm to the east of the Dominican Republic and well offshore of the southeast coast this weekend. The latest advisory has Bermuda near the track of this storm by Monday afternoon.
