Isolated Storms Possible Today, The Heat Continues

Temperatures Monday afternoon are not quite as hot as weekend temperatures but highs will still work their way into the 90s.

With the heat and humidity expect a few isolated storms this afternoon and evening.

Any storms that do develop will have the potential to reach severe limits with wind gusts over 60 miles per hour, hailstones up to one inch and isolated tornadoes all possible.

Meanwhile, the heat will continue this week with highs in the middle 90s for most areas with some upper 90s likely along the I-95 corridor.

Heat Index values will likely range from about 97 to 103° each afternoon.
