Sunshine And Heat On Thursday Across Eastern North Carolina

The heat and high relative humidity will continue across eastern North Carolina on Thursday. Highs will reach the lower to middle 90s inland and upper 80s along the beaches. Heat indices will range between 100 and 105 degrees. Only isolated storms are expected in the afternoon and evening. A cold front will approach the area by Friday afternoon giving us a much better chance for showers and thunderstorms.
