Sunshine And Continued Mild On Wednesday Across Eastern North Carolina

High pressure off the Southeast coast will continue to funnel warm southwesterly breezes into eastern North Carolina on Wednesday. Highs will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s, except middle 60s along the Outer Banks. Skies will be mostly sunny during the afternoon. A cold front will push into the area by Thursday causing a few showers. Cooler and unsettled conditions can be expected for Friday and the weekend.
