Low pressure off the Carolina coast will drift southward overnight allowing drier air to gradually move into the area. Overnight lows will dip into the 50s. Skies will become partly sunny by Thursday afternoon as afternoon highs reach the lower 70s. More sunshine can be expected for Friday and the weekend as highs remain in the lower to middle 70s. No rain is expected through the weekend.
