Sunshine And Warmer On Wednesday Across Eastern Carolina

High pressure over eastern Carolina will slowly move offshore by late Wednesday and Thursday allowing warmer air to move into our area. Highs will reach the lower to middle 80s by Wednesday afternoon except upper 70s to around 80° on the beaches. There will be lots of sunshine throughout the day. Warm conditions will last through the end of the week with a slow increase in cloud cover. Some spotty showers may develop on Friday with a slightly better chance for showers over the weekend. Afternoon highs will stay around 80° through the weekend.
