Sunshine And Warmer Across Eastern Carolina On Wednesday

Sunshine will finally return to eastern Carolina on Wednesday. Clouds remained persistent across eastern Carolina on Tuesday. The cloud cover, some drizzle and light northerly winds held afternoon temperatures in the 50s inland to the 60s on the immediate coast. It will remain mostly cloudy overnight with some patchy ground fog during the early morning hours. Lows will dip into the upper 40s inland and 50s on the beaches. The fog will burn off rapidly Wednesday morning with lots of sunshine in the afternoon. Temperatures will bounce back into the lower to middle 70s. A cold front will push through the area at night allowing slightly cooler air to arrive for Thursday.
