Seasonable temperatures will return to eastern Carolina on Friday. We should see mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 50s. It will be the warmest day since last Sunday when afternoon highs reached the lower 50s. A cold front will push clouds and some light rain into the area by Saturday morning. The front should push rapidly offshore followed by sunshine by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will cool back into the 40s Saturday then followed by a strong warming trend into much of next week.
