Sunshine And Warm On Tuesday Across Eastern Carolina

High pressure will build into eastern Carolina on Tuesday bringing drier air and plenty of sunshine. Only a stray shower or two can be expected during the afternoon. By Wednesday a cold front approaching from the northwest will give us a 30% risk of mainly afternoon thunderstorms. Temperatures will reach the middle to upper 80s both afternoons with overnight lows near 70°.
