The same weather pattern that has been dominant the past few days will continue through the weekend across eastern Carolina. A warm southwesterly breeze will keep temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90° during the afternoons with middle to upper 60s at night. Skies will remain mostly clear through most of the day with a few afternoon clouds. The chance for rain will be quite small until a cold front approaches the region on Monday. The beaches will have mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 80s. Winds will blow from the south at 10 to 15 knots through the weekend.
