High pressure along the Virginia coast will maintain a light easterly wind through Saturday. It will keep afternoon highs in the middle to upper 60s on the beaches but lower 70s should be reached in most inland communities.
There will be a few clouds but most of the day will feature filtered sunshine. Clouds will increase by late Sunday and a few showers could appear in the overnight hours. Afternoon highs will once again top out in the lower 70s. Showers will overspread the area late Sunday night and Monday.
