Sunshine And Less Humid On Wednesday Across Eastern Carolina

A weak cold front will slide just south of eastern Carolina overnight allowing slightly cooler and drier air to encompass the area. The front was preceded by strong thunderstorms late Tuesday but conditions were rapidly clearing out during the evening. We may start off the day with some patchy ground fog but sunshine will be abundant by late morning and afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 80s inland while the beaches remain in the middle 80s. For the first time in days, there is little chance for rain. Enjoy the break since more heat and high relative humidity will return for Thursday and Friday.
