Sunshine And Cooler Across Eastern Carolina On Thursday

A cold front pushed off the North Carolina coast late Wednesday causing some light showers and sprinkles in some communities. The front will continue to move south with gradual clearing behind the front by Thursday morning. Much cooler air was moving into the area late Wednesday with overnight lows dipping into the upper 30s. We will see mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 50s Thursday afternoon. A gradual warming trend will begin on Friday and continue through the weekend.
