Sunshine And Chilly Thursday Across Eastern Carolina

A chilly air mass will control the weather pattern across eastern Carolina into Friday. Skies will remain mostly clear overnight as lows dip into the middle to upper 20s inland and lower 30s on the beaches. Mostly sunny skies will warm temperatures into the upper 40s to lower 50s on Thursday afternoon. Some clouds will move into the area by evening in advance of a storm system that will bring rain Friday into Saturday. Many locations could see up to an inch of rain at that time.
