High pressure across the Great Lakes will move southeast and into our area overnight. It will bring mostly clear skies with lows bottoming out in the upper 50s. The high will build along the East Coast later Wednesday allowing warmer air to filter into the area. Highs will reach the middle 80s during the afternoon. Hotter air will move into our area on Thursday as highs surge into the lower 90s. A heat wave is likely this weekend with little chance for rain.
