Southwesterly winds will bring much warmer air into eastern Carolina on Wednesday. Afternoon highs will be near 80° inland and lower to middle 70s on the beaches. We should see lots of sunshine throughout the day. A cold front will move through the area by Thursday morning causing an increase in clouds and the risk for a few showers. Highs will be in the 60s to lower 70s during the latter portion of the week and weekend.
