Sunny And Warm On Friday Across Eastern Carolina

High pressure across the Middle Atlantic states will keep plenty of sunshine across our area on Friday. Temperatures will be close to 90° inland and middle to upper 80s on the beaches. Winds will become light southwesterly by the afternoon. It will remain quite warm to rather hot as we head into Labor Day Weekend. We could see a stray shower by Saturday afternoon with a better chance for rain by late Sunday into Labor Day.

The tropics remain active but there is no threat to our area through the holiday weekend.
