High pressure across the Middle Atlantic States will keep a light northerly flow over eastern Carolina through midweek. Afternoon highs both Tuesday and Wednesday will average in the middle to upper 70s while overnight lows will dip into the lower 50s. Skies will remain mostly sunny to partly cloudy both days.
A weak cold front will cross the area by Thursday with some clouds and a slim risk of a stray shower. Temperatures will stay in the middle 70s through the end of the week.
