Another cold front will cross eastern Carolina on Friday reinforcing the dry and cool conditions across the area. Temperatures will hit the lower 70s on Friday afternoon before dropping into the 40s at night. Dry air will continue to dominate the weather pattern into the weekend. Slightly cooler air will follow the front on Saturday as highs hold in the middle to upper 60s. A warmer surge of air will arrive by Sunday. There is little chance of rain through the weekend.
