Sunny And Cool On Saturday Across Eastern Carolina

High pressure will build into eastern Carolina on Saturday giving the area lots of sunshine and cool afternoon temperatures. Highs will reach the upper 50s under mostly sunny skies with light northwesterly winds.

It will remain mostly clear and chilly Saturday night before clouds roll into the region on Sunday. An approaching cold front will bring a chance for showers by Sunday afternoon and evening. We may clear briefly on Monday before more rain arrives late Tuesday into Wednesday. Chilly conditions will continue into early next week.
