A cold front will push off the North Carolina coast by early Wednesday. Drier and cooler air will follow the front for the next couple of days. There will be lots of sunshine with highs in the lower 50s. Overnight lows will be chilly as temperatures fall to the upper 20s to lower 30s during the early morning hours. A gradual warm-up will take place later in the week.
