High pressure will settle across eastern Carolina tonight and hang around through the weekend. A gradual warming trend will begin on Saturday as highs hit the lower 50s. We should see upper 50s on Sunday as the high pressure moves offshore and southwesterly winds become more dominant.
A dry but strong cold front will arrive Monday ushering in colder air early next week. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will struggle out of the 30s while morning lows on Wednesday will be in the teens.
