Sunny And Cool Across Eastern Carolina On Friday

Chilly temperatures will continue on Friday but afternoon highs will be about 10° warmer than Thursday. Most locations will reach the lower to middle 50s in the afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will drop to near freezing Friday night ahead of a storm system that will bring clouds and rain to eastern Carolina late Saturday into Sunday. Highs over the weekend are expected to stay in the lower to middle 50s during the afternoons and near 40° at night.
