Sunny And Chilly Across Eastern Carolina On Thursday

High pressure centered in the Midwest will move southeast and push cooler air into the area. Overnight lows will dip into the lower to middle 30s under mostly clear skies. Sunny skies with highs in the lower 50s can be expected on Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will dip to freezing early Friday then a warming trend will develop. Afternoon highs will top out near 60° Friday and could reach 70° by Saturday. A cold front dropping into eastern Carolina could give us a few showers by Saturday evening.
