Storm Damage Reports

The National Weather Service reports one building lost a roof and debris was blocking a road after severe weather struck Robeson County.

Friday's reports from the weather service said a possible tornado also toppled trees and took down power lines in the area.

Those same strong thunderstorms are now moving through Eastern Carolina.

Here are some of the damage reports so far:


BEAUFORT COUNTY

There is a reported small power outage near Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.


DUPLIN COUNTY

911 Center says there are reported trees down throughout the county.

In Beulaville, a gazebo full of plants was blown over.

Two miles north of Teachey emergency management reports there is a tree on a house.

A 51 mile per hour wind gust was recorded near Beautancus.


GREENE COUNTY

Tree are down on Strickland Road in Walstonburg.

Near Lindell 911 reports a tree is down across Sand Pit Road.


ONSLOW COUNTY

Tree down on Burney Town Road.


PENDER COUNTY

An open air canopy roof was ripped off a building on Highway 210 and Blueberry Road.


PITT COUNTY

Hail has been reported in Ayden, car window broken.


WAYNE COUNTY

An abandoned mobile home was damaged by wind on U.S. 13, west of Grantham.

A portable car port was blown across the road three miles north of Grantham.

A large tree was blown across U.S. 13, 5 miles west of Grantham.

Tree on a house on Combs Road, 4 miles south of Pikeville.

A 65 mile per hour wind gust was measured four miles south of Pikeville.

A 69 mile per hour wind gust was measured in Eureka.
